The company was incorporated in 1998 for the purpose of selling 3D technology to game developers. In its first year, the
company released the classic 3DGE game engine, which ended up licensed for over 30 commercial/published products.
Since then, the company has also been involved at the forefront of developing demos and software for 3D chipmakers, produced
game titles of its own, and been involved in numerous commercial development projects.
The founding partners Jukka Liimatta and Thomas Carlsson are currently also involved in
external technology development, but both still play an integral part in Twilight 3D's core business of providing
solutions to the most challenging technical problems presented to us by clients.
